PATRÍCIA: I was born on November 5, 1972 in Rio de Janeiro.
CT - Where do you live?
PATRÍCIA: In Rio.
CT - How and when did you start working at Cultura?
PATRÍCIA: I saw an ad on the paper and I decided to send my resumé. I had an interview with Sonia, Beth and Rosangela. Some time later I got a phone call saying I had been selected and after some training here I started working.
CT - What is it like to work here?
PATRÍCIA: It's fantastic. We have a very cooperative environment, we share our experiences. My colleagues are just great and my students are very special. I'm very happy to be working here.
CT - Do you teach anywhere else?
PATRÍCIA: No, I don't.
CT - You travelled to England last January, could you tell us about it?
PATRÍCIA: I took a 2-week course on British Culture in Cambridge then I spent a week in London. England is history come alive. You can see modern buildings near constructions that were erected hundreds of years ago. It's a country that's really worth visiting. I can say that I had never learned so much in such a short period of time. It was an enriching and rewarding experience that will treasure forever.
CT - What are your plans for the future?
PATRÍCIA: I usually don't plan much. I only want to be as happy and healthy as I am now.
CT - Do you speak any other languages?
PATRÍCIA: Yes. I speak Spanish fluently and a bit of French.
CT - What do you do in your spare time?
PATRÍCIA: I enjoy myself playing with my daughter and I go dancing whenever I can. Dancing is one of the things that gives most pleasure.
CT - Radio or TV?
PATRÍCIA: Radio.
CT - Favourite actors or actresses:
PATRÍCIA: Whoopie Goldberg, Julia Roberts, Tom Cruise. I also like Brazilian actors such as Claudia Abreu and Miguel Falabella.
CT - Favourite kind of music:
PATRÍCIA: I like anything that makes me dance, from pagode to pop music.
CT - Favourite singers:
PATRÍCIA: George Michael, Sade, Adriana Calcanhoto and Revelação.
CT - Favourite dishes:
PATRÍCIA: I simply love Japanese food.
CT - Favourite colour :
PATRÍCIA: Yellow.

PATRÍCIA: Tickets to travel around the world with my family. I'd also have my own institution to help poor kids.

PATRÍCIA: There were three actually: the day when my daughter was born, the day when I got married and my first trip abroad.

PATRÍCIA: When I lost my grandparents.
CT - I laugh when...
PATRÍCIA: Well, it's very easy to make me laugh. I laugh at just about anything and I usually laugh till I cry. I do believe in the old saying: " Laughing is the best medicine".

PATRÍCIA: Stop spending money on stupid things, like weapons for example, look around and see how many people need your helping hand.
