CT: How and when did you start working at Cultura?
Lislei: In 2001 when Rosangela called me for an interview.
CT: What is it like to work here?
Lislei: Its great! When I finished the advanced course here I missed Cultura a lot. I had to come back and make it part of my life again. Ive made great friends since then.
CT: Do you teach anywhere else?
Lislei: No.
CT: Have you ever been abroad?
Lislei: Yes. In January 2003 I went to France and England. In France I had the worst snowstorm of the last 20 years in Paris and it was freezing. Apart from that I had a great time visiting the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower. England was also fascinating. I just loved to visit Shakespeares birthplace after having studied so much about him at university.
CT: What are your plans for the future?
Lislei: To study other languages and go abroad again. If you werent a teacher youd be… I think Id still be involved with education somehow.
CT: Do you speak any other languages?
Lislei: Yes. A bit of French.
CT: What do you do in your spare time?
Lislei: I go to the cinema, listen to music and surf the net.
CT: Radio or TV?
Lislei: Radio
CT: Favourite actors or actresses?
Lislei: I dont have a favourite one. I like the ones who have been in the spotlight.
CT: Favourite kind of music?
Lislei: I just love music. From rock to classical. Everything, except funk..
CT: Favourite singers?
Lislei:The list is huge...just to name a few: Michael W Smith, Phil Collins, Carpenters, Bee Gees, Beatles, Marisa Monte, Bon Jovi, U2...
CT: Favourite dishes?
Lislei: Pasta.
CT: Favourite colour?
Lislei: Blue.
CT: A remarkable book?
Lislei: Great Expectations (Dickens)
CT: If I won the lottery I'd buy…
Lislei: a house in every favourite place in Brazil.
CT: The best moment in my life was...
Lislei: When I went to Paris and visited all those magical places that had always been in my dreams.
CT: And the worst moment was...
Lislei: Fortunately, I can't think of any now.

Lislei: I'm with my funny friends.

Lislei: I see people that I love crying too.

Lislei: Are given everything in life but still aren't able to value what is offered to them.

Lislei: Night.
CT: Teaching is enjoyable because...
Lislei: You are useful to people and you also learn a lot from them.
CT: But teaching is sometimes stressing because...
Lislei: Of the amount of compositions and tests to correct.;)
CT: If you had the opportunity to say something during a few minutes on TV worldwide, what would you say?
Lislei: I'd say it's high time we started taking the environment's responses to our actions seriously.
CT: Family...
Lislei: Is a pillar of love, support and encouragement. I'm grateful for having such a nice family.
CT: Life...
Lislei: Is the greatest learning environment of all. We should take every lesson with enthusiasm and never give up.
CT: Death...
Lislei: A concern that encourages us to live life to the full.
CT: Money...
Lislei: A mere piece in the jigsaw of happiness and definitely not the most important one.
CT: What would you like to say to the CT readers?
Lislei: I'd say challenge yourselves in everything you do in life and you'll see you can go farther than you ever thought you could.
